Can I use a free drink reward during sticker/merch drops?
A free drink reward is eligible for a sticker or merch drop item, as long as the reward meets the required purchase threshold to recieve the item. Please note stickers and merch drops are available while supplies last!
For example, if the drop requires the purchase of a large drink, a medium free drink reward would not qualify. However, if the drop requires the purchase of two drinks, a free drink reward can count as one of them.
How do I update my zip code on my account?
To update your zip code on your account, just open your app and click on "More" on the bottom right corner. Click on "Profile", where you can update your zip code. Don't forget to click "Save" when you're done!
How do I update my name on my account?
To update your name on your account, just open your app and click on "More" on the bottom right corner. Click on "Profile", where you can update your first and last name. Don't forget to click "Save" when you're done!

How do I use Tap to Activate?
It’s simple! Just open your Dutch Bros app, tap on “activate” for the offer you want and enjoy the rewards with your next purchase!

“Tap to Activate” is an easy way to score special deals in the Dutch Bros app. Just tap the offer, and you’re all set! It’s our way of hooking you up with personalized rewards!
Where is Order Ahead available? Does my shop have Order Ahead?
Order Ahead availability might vary depending on the location! Please check your app to see if its available at a shop nearby or swing by a location and ask.
If your location is currently accepting orders, you’ll be able to click on “Order Ahead”. If your location is not accepting orders at this time, it will say “Order Ahead Temporarily Not Available”.
How do I pick up my Order Ahead?
Once you've placed your order, the confirmation page will show your pick-up instructions, including the pick-up location. You can also click on your order details on your app's homepage to see where to pick up your order. Pick-up instructions can vary depending on location, so make sure to double check!
If you’ll be picking up through the drive-thru, you’ll be asked to enter your vehicle details during checkout. Once you’re in the drive-thru line, please let your broista know that you’re picking up your order and provide the name that’s on the order confirmation.
If you’ll be picking up at the walk-up window, please park and walk up to the window, give the broista your name and wait for the radness!
If you’re still unsure when you get to the shop, your broista will be happy to help you!
The shop didn't see my Order Ahead / My order was missing.
We're sorry to hear that! Sometimes, your order might not be ready as soon as you arrive at the shop. Once your pickup location receives your order, your broista will begin making your drink(s) based on your estimated pickup time. This way, we can ensure your drink(s) will be guaranteed to satisfy!

Can I place my drink order over the phone?
We aren’t able to take orders over the phone, but you can place a mobile order via Order Ahead on the Dutch Bros app! Once you've submitted your order, simply swing by the shop and your order will be ready and waiting for you.

Can I add my gift card balance to the app balance?
Yes! All gift card funds that are added will automatically be applied to your Dutch Pass balance.
To add a gift card, just follow these steps:
1. Open the Dutch Bros app and tap on "More" at the bottom right corner
2. Tap “Gift Cards” then select “Load Gift Card”
3. Enter your Gift Card Number and Gift Card Reg Code
\- Gift Card Number contains 16-19 digits
\- Gift Card Reg Code contains 6 digits
4. You can also scan your Gift Card QR Code! Just click on "Scan Gift Card QR Code"
Keep in mind once a gift card has been transferred into the app, the original gift card will no longer work.
I ordered at the wrong shop!
Sorry about that! At this time, our Order Ahead feature doesn’t have the option to change the pickup location after an order has been placed and we're unable to transfer orders between shops.

Can I pre-order outside of business hours?
If your shop is currently closed or not accepting orders at the time, it will say "Closed". Once your shop is ready to accept orders again, you'll be able to click on "Order Here". You can place your order for as little as 5 minutes in advance and up to 1 hour in advance.
Can I use my Dutch Pass® for my Order Ahead?
Absolutely! You'll see any available Dutch Pass funds when you check out.
Do I need to scan my DB app for points or digital stickers?
Since you're already logged into the app, you'll receive your points and any stickers you've earned within 24 hours of your order. No need to scan when you pick up your order!

How can I change the shop location once an order is placed?
Once the order has been placed, we're unable to make any changes. We hope you can stop by the shop you originally ordered from to pick up your order. If you end up at a different shop, please chat with a broista so they can help!
Can I still earn digital stickers when I use Order Ahead?
As long as your order qualifies to unlock a sticker, you'll receive it!
How do I get a receipt for Order Ahead?
Once your order is placed you'll receive an email confirming your order with your order details and the location you selected for pick-up.
Is there a limit to how many items I can order at the same time via Order Ahead?
Nope, no limits here! Put in your order just like you would in person!
Can I buy food items through Order Ahead?
You can totally pick up one of our goodies to go with your drink! However, if your stand has any local baked goods or other food items, you'll need to order those in person.
Can I order Dutch To Go through Order Ahead?
Not yet! [Click here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V9hg4VA2M3VW-mJEYB0xAWv7GbP3XtDv/view?usp=drive_link) to check out the Dutch To Go menu or to submit an order form! Just be sure to submit your order form to your shop at least 24 hours in advance.
Please note, pricing can vary by region, so we recommend checking with your broista for the specific pricing and options available in your area!
Can I buy merch/cups through Order Ahead?
Order Ahead is just for drinks and goodies - the best place to pick up Dutch Bros merch or coffee beans is our [website here](https://shop.dutchbros.com/).
Is there a fee to use Order Ahead?
No extra fees here! You just pay for your drink and let us take care of the rest.
Will I get a notification that my Order Ahead is ready?
We'll send a notification when it's time to pick up your order and you'll see your pick-up time and location posted on your app once you finalize your order!
Can I split payments through Order Ahead?
Sure can! If you don't have quite enough on the gift card, we'll prompt you to add another card or ask if you want to use your default option that's already on file.
What payment methods are accepted for Order Ahead?
We accept all major credit cards, Dutch Bros gift cards, Dutch Pass® funds and any earned rewards! We just don't accept cash for Order Ahead orders.
How far in advance can I place an order?
It depends on your pick-up location! You can place your order for as little as 5 minutes in advance to up to 1 hour in advance.
Is the full menu available for Order Ahead?
We’re always looking to expand our Order Ahead menu! We have almost all of our drink options available in the app and we’re working on making more secret menu flavors available!
Can I have someone else pick up my Order Ahead order?
Sure thing! Just be ready to provide the name the order was placed under once you get to the pick-up spot.
How do I add a tip through Order Ahead?
Before placing your order, you’ll be given the option to add a tip! Just choose the amount under “Add A Tip” at the bottom of the “Review Order” screen.
Please note, if you have tipping on, you'll see it automatically added to your total. Don't worry, though! You'll still be able to adjust the tip amount, if you'd like, before submitting your order.
Why is my shop location not accepting orders at this time?
Order Ahead kicks off 30 minutes after the shop opens and wraps up 30 minutes before the shop closes. This gives our rad broistas time to prep, clean and make sure you get the best service around!
If you're visiting a 24-hour shop, the Order Ahead hours are 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM (local time), so it might be outside Order Ahead hours. Unexpected shop closures or techinical difficulties could also affect Order Ahead.
We recommend placing an order at a different shop or stopping by in person!
Why wasn't my order ready when I got to the shop for pick-up?
We apologize for the unexpected wait! Sometimes, your Order Ahead order might not be ready as soon as you arrive at the shop. Once your pickup location receives your order, your broista will begin making your drink(s) based on your estimated pickup time. This way, we can ensure your drink(s) will be guaranteed to satisfy! We appreciate your patience!
I need a refund for my Order Ahead order.

How long will my order be held at the counter?
We want to be sure you're able to enjoy your hot drink hot or your cold drink cold, so we ask you arrive at the time suggested in the app. However, we'll hold your drink for 10 minutes past. If you're more than 10 minutes late, chat with the broista at the window.
Will my order be made first if I use Order Ahead?
Not necessarily! Once your pickup location receives your order, your broista will begin making your drink(s) based on your estimated pickup time. This way, we can ensure your drink(s) will be guaranteed to satisfy!
When will my points appear for my Order Ahead?
Points for your order should appear on your app within 24 hours.
I placed an order at 7am on sticker drop day, but didn't get a sticker!
We're sorry you missed the sticker! Please note that Order Ahead doesn’t reserve the sticker or guarantee availability. They come in limited quantities and are available while supplies last. Stickers are given out in person on a first come first serve basis. Thanks for understanding, and check back next month for a new sticker!
How can I redeem my free drink reward through Order Ahead?
Congrats on the free drink! When placing your order, just select your free drink reward from the payment options. Make sure you've already exchanged your points for a reward so that you can apply it to your order!

Do you still offer the Half Birthday Reward?
Thanks for checking! As of December 1, 2023, we’re no longer offering a reward on half birthdays. Don’t worry though! You’ll still get your free drink on your birthday!
What is Charge Up? How do I Charge Up on the app?
We want to make it easier than ever for you to get your Dutch Bros fix! That’s why we’re giving you the option to “Charge Up” by loading funds directly to the app! To add funds to your app, just follow these steps:
1. Open the app and tap “Scan”
2. Tap on the “Charge Up” button and choose your payment method
3. Select the amount you'd like to add
4. You can turn Automatic Reload on or off if you'd like to automatically reload the amount once your balance is below a certain amount
Please note, the funds loaded into your Dutch Pass cannot be used for the purchase of gift cards. Thanks for understanding!

Why was I charged twice? / I'm seeing double charges.
Thanks for checking in about this! Sometimes when a credit or debit card is used, there will be an automatic authorization of funds before the final charge is processed. This shouldn’t be an actual charge and the pending authorization should fall off from your statement within a few business days.

I'm having issues with the app! / General Troubleshooting Steps
We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Dutch Bros app! We release updates frequently, which may resolve the issue.
Please try the recommended steps below in the order they're listed - this should help you get back on track:
iOS:
1. Offload your app.
Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Click on the Dutch Bros app > Tap on “Offload App" (iOS).
2. If you are using a VPN, turn it off.
3. Delete the Dutch Bros app.
4. Turn off your cell phone, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on.
5. Redownload the Dutch Bros app.
Android:
1. Clear the app cache.
Open Settings > Swipe to and tap Apps > Select or search for the Dutch Bros app > Tap Storage > Tap "Clear cache".
2. If you are using a VPN, turn it off.
3. Delete the Dutch Bros app.
4. Turn off your cell phone, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on.
5. Redownload the Dutch Bros app.

3. Select "App Settings" and adjust your notification settings
4. To stop receiving promotional emails and/or push notifications, toggle each switch off

How do I share/gift a reward to a friend on the app?
To gift a reward to a friend through the app, just follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have enough points to swap for a reward (250 points for up to a medium drink and 325 points for up to a large drink).
2. Go to the ‘Rewards’ tab on your app.
3. Click ""Gift To A Friend"" under the reward you'd like to give.
4. Select the recipient from your contacts or enter the recipient’s phone number.
To confirm, once a reward is shared with a friend, the amount of points needed for that reward will be removed from your account.

Order Ahead allows you to save time by placing a mobile order through the Dutch Bros™ app! Once you've submitted your order, simply swing by the shop to pick up your order.

In the meantime, we offer a free sticker, while supplies last, with every drink purchased on the first Wednesday of every month at all of our shops - be sure to stop by!

What app promotions are you currently doing?
Our shops are locally operated, so promotions vary. Your best bet is to download the Dutch Bros™ app to receive updates and offers!
Does my local shop offer any Military and/or First Responder discounts?
Since each shop is locally operated, discounts will vary. Feel free to swing by your local shop to see if they offer any discounts. Thank you for your service!
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit cards, Dutch Bros gift cards, and funds loaded onto your Dutch Bros app. We also accept Apple Pay, Apple Cash, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
You can pay quickly and securely at the window using Tap to Pay by tapping your card or mobile device at checkout.
Be sure to check with your local shop to see if they accept personal checks!
How are tips calculated?
In accordance with the industry standards, tips are calculated based on the total amount after taxes.
How do I use Order Ahead?
If you haven't already, start by downloading the Dutch Bros™ app and creating a free account! Once you're logged in, click the "Order" tab, then choose which location you'd like to pick up your order. Choose and customize your drink(s), then view your cart to check out. Confirm your payment details, then click on "Place Order". You'll receive an order confirmation with details on how to pick up your order. That's it!
Why is the sticker drop on the first Wednesday of each month?
We moved the Sticker Drop to the first Wednesday of the month in hopes of giving you a midweek pick-me-up!
How does auto-tipping work?

Set an amount for orders above and below $10, and a tip will be added each time you pay for orders with the app. You can always change it at checkout to give more (or less) love. We’d love to celebrate your birthday with you! Just download the Dutch Bros™ app to receive a free drink reward for your birthday. If you don’t have the app, let your broista know!
If you already have the app, you'll get your free drink reward on the day of your birthday.
If you download the app on the day of your birthday, you’ll get your free drink reward the next day.
Your birthday reward will be available for 30 days!

Does this mean I can only get stickers on the app on Wednesday as well?

Do I still earn points when I place an Order Ahead?
Absolutely! We're all about hooking you up with points for each order and you should see them added to your Dutch Bros account within 24 hours.

Will I get an app sticker on the first Wednesday of every month as well?
Absolutely! You’ll get an app sticker that matches your sticker to commemorate your visit on this special day! This app sticker is available all month!
Has anything changed with free medium/unlimited expirations?
Drink expirations have not changed! Your free drink will expire 180 days from the time you traded your points in!
Can I still customize my drink through Order Ahead?
We'd love to customize your drink the way you want, so you can definitely make your usual customizations when ordering ahead! If you have a particularly creative order, or enjoy a cold pour, we recommend ordering your drink at the shop so your broista can get it just right.
How do I trade in my points for free drinks?
Head to your home screen and select the rewards option at the bottom of your screen, tap “Free Medium Drink” or “Free Drink of Your Choice” to unlock! It’s that easy!
How do I earn points?
It’s easy! Collect 3 points for each dollar you spend at a shop, and there’s no limit to how many you can earn!
How do I pick up my order when I get to the shop?
Once you've placed your order, you'll be able to see pick-up instructions in the app. Pick-up instructions can vary depending on location, so make sure to double check!
How do I register without downloading the Dutch Bros™ app?
There's not a way to register without the app! Please check back periodically as we release new features in the future.
How do I update my preferred shop location in the app?
To update your preferred shop, please follow these steps:
- Click on the “Order" tab
- Search the location of your choice
- Click “Details"
- Click "Set Location as My Preferred Shop"
Please note that you can only choose one preferred location at a time. Your preferred shop and hearted shops will all be listed under your “Favorites” in the “Order” tab. Your preferred shop will be at the top of your list and will not have a heart next to it.
Just a heads up! The app does not use GPS to automatically select a store. Instead, it defaults to the last location you searched for or manually selected when placing an order.
To ensure your order goes to the correct location:
- Double-check the selected store before placing your order.
- If needed, you can use the search bar to select a different store.
How can I order a drink through the app?
If you haven't already, start by downloading the Dutch Bros™ app and creating a free account! Once you're logged in, click the "Order" tab, then choose which location you'd like to pick up your order. Choose and customize your drink(s), then view your cart to check out. Confirm your payment details, then click on "Place Order". You'll receive an order confirmation with details on how to pick up your order.

How do I pay through the app?
All you need to do is load up your Dutch Pass® with any balances from Dutch Bros gift cards, or add money directly from your credit or debit card. Then, present your pass to your broista — once they scan, you’re good to go!
Are you still accepting stamp cards?
As of March 31, 2021 we are no longer accepting stamp cards.
Can I transfer my stamps to my point balance on the app?
Afraid not! As of March 31, 2021 we are no longer accepting stamp cards.
What's the difference between points and rewards?
Points add up when you make qualifying purchases at our shops, and when you reach a certain number of points, you may redeem those points for a reward, which is usually a free drink!
Do points expire?
All points earned will have a 180 day expiration from the day they were earned. Keep an eye out for alerts when your points are close to expire!
Do rewards expire?
Rewards do expire within a certain time frame depending upon the reward. We’ll give you a heads up through the app if that’s the case, so just be sure to check in often.
Will I be notified if points or rewards are expiring?
Yep! We’ll give you a heads-up in your app notifications if you’re in danger of losing any points or rewards. Check in often, though, so you don’t miss out!
Do I earn points if I'm buying my drink with a gift card?
Yes! Even more reason to use those gift cards.
Can I earn points buying gift cards?
Points can only be collected from qualifying purchases at our shops. Points can’t be collected from the purchase or reloading of gift cards, online purchases, taxes, tips or charity donations.
Can I redeem my rewards to buy your coffee online?
Rewards are redeemable for drinks or food items only, and those are served up at our shops, so we’ll see you there!
Can I still get points if I forgot my phone?
We hate when that happens! If you ever forget your phone in the future, just give your broista your phone number and you’ll earn the points.

How old do you have to be to download the app?
You must be 13 years or older to use the Dutch Bros™ app.
How many points do I need for a reward?
It depends on the reward you want! A medium drink is free with 250 points, and any other drink uses 325 points.

Why do I need the app for my birthday drink?
The app is the best way to get all sorts of rewards- including the birthday drink! It’s best to sign up for that if you can. If not, just talk to your broista!
Can I just show my ID for a free birthday drink?
Our birthday drinks are now part of the rewards on the Dutch Bros™ app! Download the app to get a free drink for your birthday - we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
